I've heard them all..students get crafty the closer deadlines get

10: It wasn't this hard in highschool

9: But it's almost 10 pages!

8: My dog/cat/snake/boyfriend/girlfriend ate it

7: I dropped it in the garbage disposal

6: Aliens stole it

5: My mom/dad is still correcting it

4: I was drunk/high and forgot

3: I left it on the bus

2: The police confiscated it as evidence

1: But I always get deadline extensions....
